You can subscribe to up to 5 podcasts for free and can unlock unlimited subscriptions via in-app purchase if you need to. Just like Feed Wrangler, Pod Wrangler features a super clean interface. If you don't, you can still use Pod Wrangler. If you use the Feed Wrangler service, you can tie your account right into Pod Wrangler as well. You can change the login/password at any time by long pressing on the podcast, then selecting ‘Custom Settings’ and finally ‘Edit podcast url’.Pod Wrangler is by the same developer of the popular RSS app Feed Wrangler, which is also one of our favorite RSS apps for iPhone.

After validation the app will update the podast. You will have to check the ‘Authentication’ checkbox and enter your login / password. You will then be able to enter the podcast RSS feed url. If you’re running Podcast Addict v3.8 or later, press the main screen + button to add a new podcast. Player.FM does not support authentication at this point. It will ask for your username and password. Once in the individual podcast settings, go to “Authentication” and select HTTPS authentication. I’ve reviewed both Instacast for Mac and Pocket Casts 4. Pocket Casts on the other hand, I only just started using when I was testing it on Android and then iOS.
